I honestly can’t get over how much this change in weather is affecting me this year.
This past weekend I made sure to make time for a walk each day and it was so rejuvenating to just get out. Over the last year I’ve been pretty focused on living a healthy lifestyle and I didn’t realize until this past winter how much daily activity played a part in that. Seems pretty straight forward, I know, but I’ve been so focused on food. Last summer and fall I was walking 3-4 km at least 4x a week and that was a huge part of my physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Now that I’m working 4-5 days per week and running a household it’s harder to find that time to get outside. I’m toying with the idea of doing evening walks or early morning runs.
I feel like I’m finally into a good routine and learning how to balance this working momma/wife role and so now it’s time to focus on getting myself back to feeling my best. Thankfully I’m loving each and every role I play in this life of mine and that is huge for my own quality of life and outlook.
Just a quick note on my new cleaning regimen.
